7 Best Adults-Only Bali Resorts for Total Peace and Quiet

Aussies love Bali, there’s no doubt about it. Perfect for couples, mates, families and solo travellers, there really is something for everyone in this island paradise.

But while we love kids, sometimes an escape is needed, and when you’re seeking some serious relaxation, screaming babies and noisy kids by the pool can put a serious dampener on what should be a blissful break.

That’s why we’ve tracked down seven of the hottest adults-only accommodation in Bali to give you a moment or two of true tranquillity. Leave the earplugs at home!

1. The Royal Purnama, Gianyar

This five-star paradise is the absolute ultimate in adults-only luxury. Children under the age of 12 years are not permitted, so you can bliss out without fear of being interrupted by noisy littlies.

The Royal Purnama is also famous for their floating breakfasts and poolside snacks - perfect for refuelling after a day of doing nothing!

2. The Balé, Nusa Dua

Nestled just a short stroll from the beach, The Balé is Nusa Dua’s only five-star adults-only resort, barring anyone under the age of 16.

Each gorgeous, modern pavilion comes with its own private pool, but the resort’s main pool is well worth a dip, too, with its half-submerged sunbeds. Oh, and don’t even get us started on the food!

3. Yoga Searcher, Uluwatu

Get back in touch with your mind, body and spirit at Yoga Searcher, the Uluwatu cliffside yoga retreat accommodating those over the age of 14 only.

Built from 100% recycled wood, their eco-lodge uses recycled rainwater, is as chemical-free as possible and boasts some of the best raw, vegan and gluten free food you’ll find in Bali.

4. Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali, Tejakula

A favourite with celebs like Keira Knightley, the ultra-luxe Spa Village Resort Tembok Bali is located right on the water on the tip of Bali’s northeast coast and only accommodates those over the age of 16.

With rooms, suites and villas inspired by traditional Balinese architecture, lush gardens, yoga and wellness programs, spa treatments and an incredible onsite restaurant, a few days here and you’ll never want to leave.

5. The Kayon Jungle Resort, Ubud

It may have only opened in 2018, but The Kayon Jungle Resort has already become the go-to place in Ubud to escape the hustle and bustle… and kiddies under 15!

Home to some of the island’s most jaw-dropping views and Insta-worthy pools, this five-star resort doesn’t come cheap, but trust us when we say it’s worth every rupiah.

6. Bali Pearl Hotel, Legian

For something a little more budget friendly, head to Bali Pearl Hotel, the beautiful Seminyak resort catering to those aged 15 and over with rooms starting from less than $100 a night.

Location is everything in Seminyak, and you can’t get much better than this. Bali Pearl Hotel is within walking distance of Double Six Beach and the famous bars and beach clubs lining its shores.

7. Bloomfield, Umalas

Not only is Bloomfield adults only (no kids under 14 are allowed) and oh-so-relaxing, but it’s super affordable, with prices per night starting from around $80.

With its lush position overlooking Umalas’ rice terraces, gorgeous pool, modern, boutique-style rooms and suites, pilates, yoga, PT and moe, there’s plenty to keep you busy and blissed out.
